Stellar Promo for Philips 21:9 Format TV

Created for Tribal DDB, Amsterdam, Stink Digital and Director Adam Berg deliver this interactive campaign for Philips’ new CINEMA 21:9 TV. The cinematic proportions of the display became the theme of this piece. Adam responded with an idea for an epic ‘frozen moment’ cops and robbers shootout sequence.

This 2:19 film runs as an endless loop, allowing viewers to control their moves through the scene. The film also contains embedded hotspots, which, when triggered, give us a behind-the-scenes look at some of the shots.

Digital Projection Signage Deputs at MOA

Stillwater, MN based Modernistic Inc has developed some pretty cool Digital Projection Signage that Best Buy deputs at the Mall of America. I have not witnessed this in person yet but it looks pretty cool in the assorted clips I’ve been able to dig up. It looks like the days of the “still” cardboard cut out are numbered.

Flash SWF now recognized by Google + Yahoo

Adobe has announced that it has shared with Google and Yahoo optimized Adobe Flash Player technology in order to enhance the search engines ability to detect Flash based web sites.

According to Adobe “Improved search of SWF content will provide immediate benefits to companies leveraging Adobe Flash software.” This is a key development for photographers whose web pages are Flash based. More infomation available here.
